BMW E9 + E39 M5 chassis

Take a classic E9 body (one of the most beautiful BMW's ever built) and mate it to an E39 chassis and drivetrain. You end up with a modern day classic. As others posted in the site, would have preferred keeping the original dashboard. Nevertheless, the exterior looks good but nowhere near the original and beautiful E9 CS.

I knew that Racing E9 looked funky. It has to be a recreation, because the fender extensions look nothing like the original.

Either way, they both are gorgeous.

I saw this car in person at the BMW museum in Munich. That particular room is full of M race cars (E30 and E46 were absolutely amazing).
