Avec la politique « imbattable » de maxi, tu arrive avec les « penflet » publicitaire des concurrents tu achete les rabais des concurrents au maxi et il t,es font au même prix. Certain diront que sa fait « asti gratteux » criss de bs qui check c'est penflet.

Sur un épicerie de 40$, j'ai bien dit 40$, j'ai sauver 5$ d'épicerie, j'imagine même pas avec un épicerie de 100$.

Sur une épicerie weekly à deux, on sauve de 10 à 30$ en price matchant. Oui le monde nous regarde croche quand on match mais je m'en Calisse raide, plus d'argent dans mes poches.
 
I get my meat from costco and viandal. Most of the rest i get from anywhere that's convenient and that offers better price. Producs are all same everywhere anyways so who cares. Dealing with bs? The only person i deal with is the cashier. The rest is none of my business. I really don't see why i would volunteerly go to iga to pay more for... fancy lights?
But i do go to iga often. Because its the only big chain grocery store directly in my daily route so for my own convience.

Im really not convinced of that. Notice that when Maxi has specials on specific products these products seem to be of less quality? Call me crazy but im pretty sure most specials at maxi are lower grade...Peanut butter doesnt taste the same in special at Maxi's compared to the one I bought at Costco. Same for bear paws (biscuits) and other products.

I might be wrong, just sharing my feeling.

Well i haven't gone to maxi in a while because there is none close by. But i don't see how those type of product could be different. We are not talking about some in house sandwiches or veggies or fruits.
As far as i can see unless proven otherwise it's all same.

My point is it's definitely not the fancy lighting and "presentation" that will make me go extra mile to pay more.
 
Moi IGA c'est le plus près, si tu prend des trucs en spécial c'est pas trop cher, leurs deals me semblent plus nombreux et plus de choix que au métro (prix/marché équivalent). Sinon PA mais depuis que j'ai pu de char c'est moins évident. J'aimerais aller au marché Atwater en sirotant un café équitable mais bon, je suis pas encore assez riche
 
I order a lot of my stuff from distributors from my restaurant.. How many would be interested to group-buy and save on meat/fish and veggies? (For fun)
 
vous voir parler de bouffe et des differentes bannieres c'est hillarant.

Hint : tu payes pas plus juste pour la decoration.

Hint : outsider est sur la bonne voie pour tout squi est des produits qui sont pas en boites , conserves , emballer direct chez le manufacturier qui possede la ''marque'' en question.

Products from Maxi and Super C generally aren't as fresh as others.

Ma theorie exacte c est qu'exemple, Dare a toujours plein de batch de biscuits qui sont pas au standard exact du gout habituellement produit. Ils packent ca et shippent ca a Maxi. Maxi se vire de bord et dit; boite de pattes d'ours en special (pour la 59 ieme semaine d'affilée) à 2,27$ au lieu de 3,37$. Meme chose pour Kraft qui scrap des batch de beurre de peanut. Resultat, 1kg à 3.67 au lieu de 7,98.

J'achète du poulet\viande haché\côte levée chez Maxi et je suis un ancien boucher, je vois aucune différence de qualité\fraicheur avec les autres shops.

Je suis sceptique. Le seul Maxi qui a de la viande mangeable dans le coin c'est celui au coin de Cousineau et la 30. Sinon tous les autres sont pareils, soit médiocre.

Prochaine fois fais ca l ete en corvette, price match, fais toi regarder croche, spot ces personnes la en sortant du magasin, attends les pis montre leur ce que ca peut faire se servir de sa tete ;)

This is how it works in retail food service. The major producers give specials to all the retail players but not at the same time so one will have specials of say chicken breasts one week and another may have it in 2 weeks.

This way those that only shop one grocery store will see the specials once every 6-8 weeks while others who shop the flyers will see the same specials every 3-4 weeks.

Fresh produce has traditionally been auctioned off lot by lot to the highest bidder. The smaller private grocery chains usually purchase lots that are more ripe and will spoil sooner so by selling at a reduced price they move the lot quicker before it spoils.
