Road bike thread

- installer nouveau shifter & frein

What's some recommendations for shoes in the 250-300$ range? I feel like treating myself

Long & étroit VS large.

it depends on how you feets are. If they're narrow, wide, high, etc.

If you have wide toe box or collapsing arch that makes them wider, Specialized shoes (wide range) and Shimano's are good. Until now I've used 2 pairs of S-works shoes, Shimano Sphyre, Giro and Fizik. Specialized are on top of the list as the most comfortable ones for me since I have a wide foot.

Right now I use Giro VR90 which I love.

But for a good budget like yours, I'd go S-works when they come with a discount. Otherwise the Torch 3.0 should be a very good choice.

Fiziks makes also very nice shoes, a bit on the heavy side but very confortable and stiff.

In the end you need 2 main factors : confort and stiffness in the sole.

No my saddle is not like this usually, ive been working on it to put some parts and left it like that for now

@gregster if you have wide feet, the shimano sphyre and rc7 are similar,go try them you will see.Ive had some old'ish s-works, they where good but had a little pain on the side of my foot after longrides.
