Local bike shops aren't any better... I had one busting my balls for a bottom bracket and in the end paid another shop to change it out last year. Had a problem with my trainer and want to Tacx directly, got sent the part

If you want trouble free just deal with MEC they'll take anything back within reason
I've been lucky enough to be friend with bike shop owners so I've always got good experiences with what I've bought locally

I don't agree, you just have to find a good one and stick to it.

Same goes with any garage. Having one bad experience doesn't mean the others are bad to.

Bonjour,

Road 100km this morning, really struggled on the last 20km. Calf muscle cramp and the last 2km my quad muscles started cramping up severely. Very painful.

Maybe dehydrated. Was not well after my ride, better now.

I was skeptical for the longest time but I take magnesium supplement now. Like 250mg 2-3 times a week and Almost never get cramps anymore. I used to get them like all the time, not just during training. Mostly in my feet/toes.

Fawk did I regret not putting on my shoe covers today. It was beautiful though. Cycling under a canopy of multi-colored leaves. Sunlight beams streaming through them. Fresh air filling your lung at every breath. I often don't feel like training but never not once have I regretted going out for a training session after the fact. Damn it feels good.

I've been so lazy this summer. Freaking house work and such
Did you commute to work?

For me, it is the best use of my time. It takes a bit more time when there is no traffic, but I get a good 2x 35-45min of exercise and it just clears my mind. I need my daily ration of exercises, so although it might cost me 10-15min to travel, I save 30-45min at night and I can do whatever else I have to do!

side benefit is less stress, almost no fuel, no wear and tear on my car...

Now, I am not one of theses warriors that does it regardless of the weather; when it is raining hard, or raining in cold(ish) weather, or if both rides are supposed to be wet I take my car. And since I pickup 2 of my kids after work on my bike (baby seat and tandem with his bike), when it falls under 10C at night it gets tough for them. I can probably stretch my season for a few more weeks...

t'arrête quand? t'as long?

Quand je travaillais à Laval, ça me faisait 35 allez, 35 retour alors ça me faisait des belles saisons.

Home-made wall rack.

Edit : Toujours aucune ***** d'idée pourquoi mes photos drop à l'horizontal...
