Cest sur que ca allait arriver, cest comme les autos, tu peux pu retourner a conduire une corolla de base, faut au moin une auto avec un peu de fun

Pour le prix c'est correct je trouve. D'après moi le Claris 8V est correct fonctionnel, mais vraiment loin d'être "performant".

Dans le pire des cas t'enlève toute et tu met un mini groupe 10V et tu vas avoir un super setup; faut juste trouver des shifters hydro (pas mal plus cher qu'à cable).
 
Note: Instead of buying new bike to keep riding motivation I invested a bit in jackets, knickers, gloves, just good solid clothes for Winter/Spring&Fall/Summer and you know what, I'm glad I spent that money there instead of bikes. I'm much more comfortable on the bike and perform better and I'm never second guessing if I'm dressed right for even a 2hr ride in not so great weather.

I see people out there who are fit and are riding 5K+ set ups in bib shorts and a jersey in 10 degree with wind, no way you're comfortable, it took me way too long to realize the importance of having good cycling apparel

Contact points are the most important:
1- proper bike fit
2- saddle fit & bib
3- shoes, pedals with right amount of float & support, handlebar with the proper width and drop, etc..

Being comfortable makes you want to ride the bike more. arm & legs sleeves, shoes covers, gloves, ventless helmet for cold ride, ...

It really depends on how (frileux) you are. Honestly, between 5C and 10C, I only use arm warmers and maybe gloves if it's windy. from -5C to 5C I add a windbreaker and that's pretty much it.. But I ride with people with full winter gear at 10C

This makes no sense to me, I'm a fit but heavy 182lbs and I'd freeze to death even with some mass on me nevermind if I trained for cyclist body type

en effet c'Est pas normal. Et oui, un vélo neuf vendu est supposé etre une priorité vs les réparation.
 
Anyone know any good group rides that are open to new members? I can comfortably ride solo at 30km/hr so it'd be nice to share the wind a bit and cover some real distance fast.

Slo rides ftw

I ride 80% solo these days,my cycling friends live far or dont have enough time

No need to hide behind nobody and go at your pace, headwind makes you faster ;)
