Watching These Retro Supercars Will Make You Long For The 80s

Eesh. I remember those days, cars were NOT reliable and everyone broke down at a one time or another, even Hondas and Toyotas but the Italian cars were a class apart. There were a few FIATs (126, 128, 128 3p) here and they were all beached in a snowbank during the winter, they also rusted in real time visible to the naked eye. Then we had Lada, Skoda, Yugo and Innocentis...

We've come a long way in cars.

That Ferrari with 270HP and 0/60MPH @ 6.8s seems ridiculous by today's standard.

I have no regrets though, today's "enthousiast" entry level sportscar > most 1980s supercars with few exceptions like the Diablo, Countach, etc.

Unless you're a collector, in which case it's justified.

Ferrari Testarossa

80's car might not have been as reliable, but one thing they were, was beautiful. IMO the 80's- early early 90's was the apex of car designing. Pop up headlights, "futuristic" styling. Car back then looked like they came straight out of comic books.
