Eesh. I remember those days, cars were NOT reliable and everyone broke down at a one time or another, even Hondas and Toyotas but the Italian cars were a class apart. There were a few FIATs (126, 128, 128 3p) here and they were all beached in a snowbank during the winter, they also rusted in real time visible to the naked eye. Then we had Lada, Skoda, Yugo and Innocentis...
We've come a long way in cars.
That Ferrari with 270HP and 0/60MPH @ 6.8s seems ridiculous by today's standard.
I have no regrets though, today's "enthousiast" entry level sportscar > most 1980s supercars with few exceptions like the Diablo, Countach, etc.
Unless you're a collector, in which case it's justified.
