Always a great week for Montreal and racing fans, officially kicks off the summer period. Great to see the tickets are sold out, there are still general admission available. It is nice to see the GP organizers offer family tickets at $275 and free for children under 15, great initiative on their part.

This is a power circuit, I am hoping Ferrari bring their "power enhancements" which are planned for this weekend. They will need all the juice they can muster to hope to challenge Mercedes and stay ahead of Williams.

Long term forecast, nice weather for Saturday-Sunday. Should make for an entertaining GP, as always...

What are your plans for GP week?

Did they fix the stupid sound of the cars yet or do they still sound like go-karts?

Unsure why I'd spend any money going to see F1 until they get that shit fixed.

Bring ear plugs if you want to plaster yourself on a gate near the track! It's amazing.

Ear plugs are no longer necessary with these engines. A far cry from the screaming V12 and V10's. God I miss the V12 era...I used to get goose bumps when I heard the Ferrari V12 in the distance coming towards the hairpin or down the straight.

Maybe your hearing is bad?

V8's would destroy my ears. As I said, plastered on the fences.
