Chamois ? (the good ones)

Alright, fathers day is coming up and as I was washing my bike today I noticed my dads Chamois is dying. Full of holes and stuff, looks like it had mad cow disease but, still works nicely. I bought him synthetic ones a few years back and they were terrible.

Now, I'm clueless as to where I can purchase de REAL GOOD ones. Someone care to enlighten me?

Start using waffle weave microfiber towels instead. Much better than chamois. Ask Joey at Elegance Auto Detailing he has very good ones in stock.

Microfiber are best. go buy some plush microfiber at canadian tire. simoniz must sell some ( they cost like 10-13$ a piece) not the cheap one at 19.99 for 24$.

waffle are good too, but i prefer microfiber because i usually spray some quick detailer before wiping and its better than waffle.
 
Waffle weave will absorb more water/hold it better.

JoeyV from Elegance Auto Detailing will answer all your technical questions. But I do no-rinse washing (aka I'm wiping all the water away that I'm using) and the Waffle weave is fantastic
 
Moi j'ai celui de costco et y va ben. Maintenant je check pour macheter le squeezer qui sort l'eau pour que j'arrete de me compliquer la vie a le squeezer.

You probably didn't "break it in" and if it smelled like shit you let it wet somewhere where it couldn't dry. Mine is perfect.

Je l'ai acheté, puis je l'ai utilisé une seule fois. Je l,ai mouillé , essoré plusieurs fois, l'eau sortait jaune. J'ai essayer d'essuyer mon char avec, ça collait partout comme de la crazy glue en laissant des motons partout. C'étais comme gluant. Faque jai dis dla marde, back to microfiber towel:p

like many people said, the absorber! i was using all kinds of chamois until i bought this one, it works really really really well

I'll give that a go with a few other detailing products to make a nice gift basket.

150$ is the budget what would you guys add? (Nothing too far past washing and quick detailing cause he wont do it himself)

Avoir si j'aurais pas acheter le chamois chez Costco. Ca fait 1 mois je l'ai et je l'ai jamais utliser vu qu'on a un été de marde et qu'il pleut tout le temps. J'devrais peux-être le rapporter mais jpense pu avoir nis la facture nis l'emballage :(
