Battery Amp/h vs CCA

Hi,

I have to replace the battery of my 1984 633Csi
The Owner's Handbook specified to use a 66 Amp/h battery.
Looking on web sites, it seems having different way to do the conversion:
XX Amp/h X 7.25
XX CCA X .07
XX Amp/h = CCA/6
1) Which one is the good one?
2) What could happen if the battery has 100 CCA (or more) over the requirement?

Thanks

In a car like that you have no worries...

Just get the battery that physically fits as best as possible.

A good slow charge on an automatic float charger when not in use is a great help.

I run a Bosch automotive battery on my 1959 outboard. No problems.

The only concern of a larger capacity battery is if it is dead it can be hard on the alternator. If it charged before you drive then no problem.
