Bonjour

I require full farkness when i sleep,
I had this old philips Alarm Clock that did me good for over 15 years but just died
now i unboxed this crap that someone gave me a few years ago

Too much freaking light, even with the projector off, that freaking Green light illuminates too much

- dont care about a Phone DOCK, Alarm clock
- dont care about the magical sunlight clock
- i require something with either DIm digits, or adjustable brightness
- I often use my phone as a second alarm,
- Dont want to wear an eye cover,
-once again please dont mention phone alarms, i know this is the hip things since 2010 , but i do not care,

heck i thought of brinign back a mechanical BTTF type clock

Thanks ,
love you all

I've gone through multiple alarm clocks in the past few years, and am currently using this one. Best one I've had in a long time.

My second favourite feature: The alarm is not that standard evil fucking alarm sound that tears a hole through my soul every time it goes off. You know the one...
The alarm on this one starts off kind of soft, and gets increasingly louder. Also has adjustable brightness.

My favourite feature: The cube design is strong, and looks like it can resist my "woke up on the wrong side of the bed today" hammer fist Hulk-smash that caused the demise of my last few alarm clocks.

Buy a sony dream machine

I have this one

You can dim the display, digital radio tuner and 3 buzzer type. The first one is amazing. it start with two small beep for each second. then half a sencond, then quater... etc.
2 alarm when you really need to wake up

I found the best selection of alarm clocks at the source, I bought one of their home brands (nexxtech I believe), it has everything you want, even an ambient light sensor that dims the screen according to ambient light (not a gimmick!) and it even looks good... but I can't find it on their website. You should go look at them in their store.

If you can't find anything dim enough, put some window tint film on it, if you do a good job it won't show. I bought a small roll and since then I've put it on 5 "unwanted light emitting devices". My bedroom air conditionner digital display was crazy bright and I could not sleep in a bright ass blue room. This fixed it and I still can see the display. If 1 layer isn't enough just add more.

I have been using this since 2000.

Cost 10$ back then at walmart (I think it had just arrived in Qc back then).

Red display, zero useless function.

I know that feel bro, I can't even tolerate the videotron x8 blue lights, they drive me up the wall. I had to use duck tape on the numbers just to get some lightless sleep.
