New Lenovo P50/P70 business laptop monster

Holy shit,

La nouvelle gamme de laptop business de Lenovo, due pour sortir au 3e quart de 2015, est complètement ALLUCINANTE pour le prix!

Pour des gens comme moi qui ont besoin de minimum 32GB de RAM pour rouler 4 VM en même temps pour répliquer un environnement client (DC Server, DB Server, Backend, Frontend) c'est la machine parfaite.

- Intel Xeon processors
- 64 GB DDR4 ram
- 1TB SSD
- Nvidia Quadro GPU
- 4k UHD IPS Screen
- FHD TouchScreen that supports Wacom technology
- 2x Intel Thunderbolt 3
- PCI Gen3x4 to replace SATA
- Color calibrator sensor / Finger print reader

La version 15 pouces part à 1599$ c'est ridicule haha, quand bien même que ca finirait à 2000$ "bien équipé" ca reste un sacré deal!

La version 17 pouces part à 1999$.

taboire ... Moi qui vien juste d'avoir un nouveau PC lenovo a ma job .. J'aurai casiment du demandé a mon boss d'attendre ... mais en même temps 15'' c'est clairement pas assé pour moi .. Quoi que j'aurai pu branché une écran en double a coté quand je fait mon AutoCad et Configura ...

Oh well :(

Not bad . Mais je rock une 24'' la a la job . Pour des dessins c'est parfait.

Encore la avoir mon laptop pour me promené serai encore mieu . J'aurai juste eux une écran sur mon bureau a job a branché en cas de nécésité quand je suis pas mobile ...

Je tentairai de refilé mon ordi de job a un autre employé l'année prochaine ;) haha

J'ai mon nouveau HP Elitebook qui rentre à la fin du mois, je suis sur qu'il coute plus cher que le P50 et il va avoir des specs très ordinaire pour le prix...
 
On dirait qu'ils veulent vraiment détruire la compétition, le "à partir de" partira surement pas à 64GB de RAM mais si c'est vraiment le cas personne ne vas être capable de suivre haha

P50 is not available as of yet.. we won’t see these or the P70 until around the Nov /Dec time frame

Holy crap, specs are up their for the price. Buying a 15" when out to replace my Macbook Pro mid-14!
 
Guys... 64Gb DDR4 and 1TB SSD will set you back at least 1000$. Spec'd as shown in the first post is probably going for at least 5000$ the laptop...

Edit : Yeah looks like the RAM/SSD Storage/Screen are optional. Would be great if it could be under 2500$ for the P50 with 64GB RAM and 4k IPS screen.

Naaaa I don't think so, on some place on their site you can read "up to 64GB RAM" and on some other places you can read "64GB RAM", they really push the 64GB I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out of the box with 64GB RAM, 500GB SSD and I7 4k.

Out of the box, base spec would probably have 8GB ram, 256gb SSD for the base 1080p model.

And BTW, 1599$USD is about 2000$CAD. Plus taxes.. Prices are realistic compared to other mobile workstations out there. All I can see is the option for a Xeon CPU (new this year).

Dell is going to have a similar product with their Precision lineup.
