So I figured I'd bump this thread instead of making a new one. What oil is the best? My oil is at the right level but on colder days like today when I let it warm up to normal temperature, ( at the c ) I drive away and it sounds like it's rattling. After running for about 10 minutes or so the sound goes away. My last oil change was with 5w20 do you recommend something else?

5w30 on a VQ. Pretty much all N/A nissan engine take 5w30. If you only run it during summer time, 10w30.

does your VQ burn oil? if it's your case, you can try different brand of oil, some people had great result switching (as an exemple) from mobil1 to Castrol, car significantly reduced oil burning rate.

Depends if I red line it ya I burn oil. High mileage oil or just regular 5w30?

I have a 2003 max. Bought it 8 years ago.. car now has 210000 km very reliable.. I have an exhaust leak but other than that it's rock solid. It starts to rust around the read fenders.. but for 13 y/o car I think it's ok.. no other rust. Solid cars and the VQ gets it moving quickly for 1450kg

Supreme, ça va pigner sinon

non .

ECU reset + knock sensor defect + 87 = Oui ping (pré-ignition). Mais pas pour longtemps

How is it treating you so far? Is it the coupe or sedan? Any common problems on it?

It's a coupe 6mt with sport package and Brembo's all original in rare Caribbean blue. It's never been winter driven hence the reason for low mileage and is currently sleeping until spring. Got it last spring and only driven for one summer but no problems for me so far. Can't wait to put it on the road again.

Nah, no mods for me. Car is 100% bone stock. Not too many of these left unmolested so bone stock it will remain.
