The whole thing looked fishy to me, I imagine someone with more time nitpicked his assembly and to be honest it does look like a standard 1980s alarm clock taken apart and repackaged.

Alain? I've not played with actual electronics in a decade or more, what do you think?

Kossak? What about you? Why all the trouble to set all this up?

j ai lu a nulle part qu il avait fait son horloge a partir de rien mais qu il avait repackager une horloge electronique ce qui est quand meme pas pire pour un jeune de son age et aucunement une raison de se faire arreter et punir de ton ecole
 
I refrained from speaking up at the beginning, but this is turning out exactly as I thought. Kid made up a scenario where he'd be a "victim" and would use his sob story to get ahead in life with potential scholarships from tech schools (which is why he specifically wore a NASA shirt and specifically mentioned wanting to go to MIT) and ended up getting a bunch of free tech stuff from Microsoft.

C'est comme si tu me disait qu'une victime de viol qui recoit une compensation de 1million, c'est un petit prix a payer. Com'on... Le gars s'est fait humilier devant toute son ecole...

A kid gets arrested for bringing a clock to school and people here are complaining that he didn't build it himself? I think some people are focusing on the wrong part of the story.
 
je suis rester en dessous d'une roche les derniers jour et j'ai pas le gout de lire sur le sujet... mais il a fait quoi le kid

C'est probablement satirique ce que tu dis mais il y a pleins d'attardes qui pensent serieusement comme ca, y compris sur MR. Pas pour rien que le Kid recoit autant d'attention, il y a un probleme profond de discrimination dans notre societe et cet enfant est devenu le symbole de ce mal.

- Un kid brun avec un nom arabe bricole une horloge dans le cadre de son cours de science.
- Un professeur confond ca avec une bombe et appele la police
- Malgre les explications, le kid se fait arreter et embarquer par la police
- Malgre qu'il soit relache et que le device s'avere etre une horloge, l'ecole suspend le kid pour 3 jours
- L'histoire est reprise par les media, Obama est indigne, invite le bonhomme a la maison blanche pour qu'il lui montre l'horloge
- Toutes les grandes compagnies tech saluent la curiosite technologique du kid
- Il recoit pleins de cadeaux. Le MIT lui offre une bourse.
- Tout ca fait bouillir de jalousie tous les racistes

Dafuq? He built a clock, not a season of 24 where an evil mastermind plans every move. And if he somehow did, I think he deserves the scholarships, we want this kid on our side when he grows up.
