The Bugatti EB110 is not more and no less a Bugatti than the Veyron...

This is the last REAL Bugatti, the Type 251, from 1956.

After that, Bugatti was just a name...
 
I must agree with the above...
The EB110 was designed & engineered in Italy; the only French components are the badging & the specific hue of blue...

BTW the one on AS24 (the alledged 2nd one), exactly the same specs, is 1M euros... Seems to be a better deal even with the export fees imho...

And the REALEST Bugatti if you want to call them like that is the infamous type 57 SC Atlantic.

Ralph Lauren owns one and they are rare and expensive as f*ck ($40 millions)

IMO every Bugatti is prettier than the ugly whale that is the Veyron.

As far as I care, Bugatti has never been and never will be a "French" make. Ettore was born and raised in Italy, to Italian parents, and he designed cars like only Italians know how. To me, Bugatti, as a brand, is Italian, regardless of what Wikipedia or anyone else says.

Tout a été dit, la EB110 est née du premier brand revival, et la Veyron est née du 2e.


La EB110 jouit d'un regain de popularité dû au fait qu'elle profite du "nostalgia factor."


La Veyron, au contraire, tout le monde l'a assez vue, parce que VW l'a laissée inchangée pendant 10 ans. Tout le monde est tanné.

Je suis certain que la Veyron elle aussi, dans 15-20 ans, va faire un comeback comme sa grande soeur.
