Changer batterie (2008 E90 335xi)

Je dois changer ma batterie dans ma 2008 E90 335xi. J'ai l'indicateur de batterie dans mon dash et je suppose que c'est encore la batterie d'origine... OEM ou aftermarket? AGM ou non-AGM? Je sais qu'il faut enregistrer une nouvelle batterie et faire la programmation si la nouvelle batterie à un Ah différent. À part au dealer, où est-ce que je peux acheter et faire installer/enregistrer/programmer une batterie dans ma 335xi? Je suis sur la rive-sud de Montréal. Merci :bigup:

    • Batterie AGM 371$ + Installation/programmation 30 minutes (37,50$) = ~408$ + taxes = ~470$
  • BMW Sainte-Julie : 311$ (installation et programmation inclue) + taxes = ~360$
  • BMW Brossard : Batterie blanche conventionnelle (non-AGM, 90Ah 720 CCA) : 243$ - rabais 15% = 206$ + installation 215$ + taxes = ~485$
  • VAG Motorsport : Batterie conventionnelle (non-AGM, 90Ah 850 CCA) : 150$ + installation 65$ (programmation incluses ci-nécessaire) = 215$ + taxes = ~250$
  • FCP à Sainte-Catherine : Je vais appeler aujourd'hui...

When I had my E90, people on E90Post suggested a Wal-Mart battery. Their in house brand has a model that matches exactly the specs (I think more CCAs) and same size, for like 110$ with 5 years warranty. I had mine recoded by a member a while ago for cheap. Ended up costing me like 150$.

Walmart and Canadian Tire have similar batteries than BMW OEM... But I don't know anybody who would be willing to volunteer register/program my new battery...

But most probably I will end up to VAG - They sell the battery (OEM-specs) for 150$ and they charge 65$ for installation... (register/programming included), which is about 250$ including taxes. Good price. But it is 35-40 mins away from my place...
 
first look at the current battery.. on my 2007 335 it was a normal battery, not a AGM, and it was the factory one.. I replaced with a new one from Canadian Tire with same specs, reprogrammed with INPA and worked perfectly..

IIRC, OEM:
White = normal
Black = AGM

I've verified, I've a while battery (non-AGM), 90Ah 720CCA

Thank you for your offer, but finally I've called FCP and I booked an appointment there. This is where I went for my lowered suspension install and other things... They charge a bit more than VAG but the location is more convenient for me.
 
J'ai choisi d'aller chez FCP et de faire installer une Bosh conventionnelle (non-AGM) 850CCA. C'est 25$ de plus que chez VAG mais FCP est mieux localisé pour moi et je suis allé souvent dans ma vie...

pas si pire dans le fond, j'ai acheté une batterie chez canadian tire pour ma M3 et celle qui était la bonne m'a couté 200$...
 
Dans le temps je les magasinais, j'avais remarquer que la batterie Bosch OEM du dealer avait un garantie de 1 an alors que celle de Wal-Mart qui était deux fois moins chère pour la 335 venais avec 5 ans de garantie.
 
j'ai la bosh je suis moyennement sadisfait...(prend le tel quel le commentaire sans rentrer dans les details, car ya plusieures choses qui peuvent impacter la performance de la batterie) pour la programmation si tu decides de l'installer par toi meme apres tout, je peux te donner un coup de main avec, mais je ne garanti rien car je ne l'ai jamais fait, j'ai juste l'option sur ma OFT pour programmer et reseter la batterie.

même chose pour celle du canadian tire, garanti 7ans (apès un certains ils remboursent pas en entier, mais un certains %, mais pareil!)
