I bet they will have no issues selling them, besides it's not like they'll be making 100 cars a year.. They own all the parts inventory that was bought from DMC 1 and are the authority on building these cars, .. They are only building 300 cars which is what the parts stock will allow them. Seems the retro bug has caught everyone!

Here is the "low volume manufacturing bill" that was passed. It's very similar to that of the UK low volume law which allows them to have some pretty cool stuff.

So basically any existing modern engine that has already passed testing can be installed if you keep all the emission controls. You need to build 325 cars or less a year to be exempted from crash testing.
