My gti 337 build thread

Lol for sure but im just really motivated and i cant wait to see it finished too so it pushes me to work everyday! I took tons of pictires too incase i cant remember something when im putting it back together!
so since i decided to take out the raintray, i had to take out the dash and pull the carpet
i had noticed one of the po's had messed up the radio wiring pretty bad, turns out that wasnt the only wiring he had messed with..
there was also an alarm system that was installed before but no longer works and whoever installed it wasnt very smart lol everything was half assed.. gonna have to clean it up and re organize everything.
also got some more work done in the bay
its slowly getting there!

i havent posted in a while, so heres another little update.
i took the whole cabin harness out to redo some parts of it and take out what i dont need, also fix all the crap that was dont by one of the old owners..
this pic was last week, i only have a few wires left to weld and thatll go back in the car.
i primed and painted my transmission, finally.
and finished up most the metal work in the bay, im hoping to finish that tonight!
meanwhile the downpipe on my daily broke so ive got a second straight pipe 1.8t lol

nah sounds broken as fuck..trust me we compared car to car hhaha

thanks for the positive comments guys! im struggling pretty hard to try to make it for eurokracy hopefully everything goes well!
i worked some more on the harness for inside the car, looks alot less messy now but im still not done.

im finishing up a few things in the bay tonight and hopefully ill start the body work first thing tomorrow.
this project is getting lonngggg cant wait to see the final product though!

to be honest my daily surprisingly sounds pretty similar to my gti which is straight 3" except its not the same sound quality of course lol the broke downpipe sound makes me wanna throw up haha

loll dont tell me about it ahah i was about to bag it but then my daily broke and i had to buy my new one so that explains itNice suspension
a broke downpipe just sounds like im driving a peterbilt instead of a 1.8t lol its way too loud and sounds like crap
so i pretty much finished up my wiring for inside the car, i got that back in aswell as the heater, dash bar and steering column.
this is what the bay looked like at the beginning of the week, hoping to have it finished, primed and ready for paint by the end of the weekend.

im back after a while of not posting, so i didnt make it for eurokracy, lol. the project is slowly but surely getting done. i really havent been putting much time into it in the past weeks. in part because i bought a 240sx but also because i lost motivation since i didnt make it for eurokracy. i hope to have it done before the end of the summer.
