Mig0s' Y51 M37x

Coming from a 3G TL, which I had for 3 years and loved every moment driving it. But it was time for a change and needed to buy an automatic since the girlfriend doesnt have a car yet and cant drive manual.



I've always loved big sedans, dunno why lol especially i drive alone most of the time. Was hesitating between a 4G TL sh-awd, Bmw 550 and a lexus GS awd. Finally went with a M37 and loved it ever since.

It'a 2011 all equipped with every option available, except the 20inches sports wheel (i dont even know if these are available in Canada), which i plan to get if I can find a good deal.

The day i got it:
Car was blessed with tons of stickers from the dealership



So first thing first, I removed all the damn stickers and debadged the car to cut down the weight



I told myself that I would never use plastidip on my car but decided to just black out the grill



Finished result



Installed LED license plate bulbs



Changed fogs for Nokya Yellows



Changed parking/drl to LED. Current looks









Then went to the dealer because they promised me a new battery and brakes. While changing the brakes they fucked up the abs sensor -.- they ordered a new one and should receive it soon



Future plans:
- BC racing coilovers (putting them on this spring)
- Wheels. Looking for OEM sports wheels but they are difficult to find so I'm looking at other options as well
- tint windows
- Custom exhaust work this summer

Thats about it. I'm gonna keep it clean and simple for a good DD experience. Might look something like this

Found a set of GTR wheels, I think I still prefer the OEM sports wheels but I might never find these for sale lol...

edit: not that good looking finally...

^^ yeah i saw this one and threw me off. Didnt feel right. But seems like these wheels are powdercoated and the car is white so they dont really go well together. I found a photoshop of a black m37 with gtr wheels

Sick car, I would do the whole grill black tho.

I know that feeling they fucked up my abs sensor and drove it without traction control and abs for like 2 weeks yolo.

I thought about plasti dipping the windows trim, but it's a lot masking work.

Thanks man. Yeahi wanted to do the whole grill too but wanted to leave some chrome just to see how it looks. Gonna black out the chrome next week

like the progress! i remeber when that car first came out and i drove it for the frist time..really impressed me and fairly reliable.

i think the gtr wheels would look good, but id go a vinyl gloss black wrap on all the chrome on the car..

Felicitations pour tes gouts , une m37 modifiee on voit pas ca tous les jours ( meme une non modifiee d ailleur ) , en voyant ce que tu as fais de ton acura je suis sur que tu vas nous sortir quelque chose d ecoeurant .
