Wow that sucks, maybe someone that dealt with the dealer and knew there was no anti theft tracking and grabbed it before you had a chance to install one :(...may i ask which part of saint laurent?

I'd be suspicious at the dealer honestly...

I doubt people drive around trying to find an S4 to steal... it was probably an inside job with someone who possibly had a third key and info from the dealer/your location

Feels like a Haitian move to me, mostly done by Russians, some kind of an inside play.
quite hard to plan a steal on an A4 in limited time,
Takes some, hard to come by, gear to get those models going.
Also You would hear an S4 star up, your neighbors will anyway.

Hope you find it unharmed or receive full settlement from insurance without any BS.

Rgds

Look like Park Avenue VW on those pictures. I bought my car there also few months ago.

No, his car is sitting in a parking lot somewhere for about a week to ten days before its placed in a container.

My friends a cop and has told me how it works in "high end" cars cases

1. Steal car (either an inside job at dealer or not)
2. Place car in secluded parking area next to 2-3 other stolen cars and wait 7-10 days
3. Come back and if cars are there then no tracking and you're in business and dump on container.... if cars are gone = start back from scratch with a new batch of cars

Was in your shoes when my pickup was stolen last April. Had under 6000kms. Sucks big time. The cops that came to my house told me cars are usually dropped off a short distance away from were they were stolen and left there for a few days to make sure there are no tag, gps, etc.
Check local old folks homes, shopping centers, hotel parking spot etc where a car can sit for 2-3 days unnoticed. Good luck

Stinks of an inside job like everyone else said. Last night would have been the 1st time anyone would have seen that car at your house and it get's stolen, so no one had time to scope it out and plan anything.

I hope for your sake they never find it.

-It's potentially damaged
-It's likely to have been abused / joyrided in
-Resale value on a stolen/recovered car has to take a hit

I know I wouldn't want it back unless it had a special or emotional significance. Seeing as your 3 days into ownership, the insurance isn't likely to offer you less than what you paid for it.

Does anyone feel like organizing a "drive by industrial area, parking lots and retirement home" search? Everyone just drives by one that's near them and reports back that if they saw a car that matches the description.
