Best Point and shoot for $300

Since nobody answered, I'll tell you what I know about low-end cameras.

Basically most point and shoot that are under 300$ will take pictures about as good as high end cell phones so they're not really worth it. If you have a good camera on your phone, it's not really worth it.

If you're willing to pay 100$ more, get yourself a Sony A5000, which is on sale at 400$ (incl. 32gb card) at Canada Computers, will probably give you excellent pictures in auto mode.

If you learn how to properly use it in manual mode or aperture priority mode, and shoot your pictures as RAW pictures and edit them later, you should get fantastic results.

If you really need a sub 300$ point and shoot, then sorry I can't help you, maybe someone else will?
