2016 F1 Thread

soo...in the video, this guy demonstrate clearly that, it was nico who fucked up, but still no one talked about it

Damn, RBR messed up today. Ricciardo got royally screwed, imagine where he would be in the standings without the blow out in China, mess up in Spain and royal screw up by his own team today.

It has been way too easy for Mercedes this year but you are starting to sense it is also getting difficult for them. Vettel should have won Australia (Ferrari messed up), Vettel retired in Abu Dhabi with engine problems, Vettel was crashed out in Russia.

The Championship should be much closer, and Nico will not be WC this year.

And, the only reason Lewis won today is because Nico let him through on team orders. If the team had not intervened, Ricciardo would have won even with the screw up in the pits.

As much as I like Lewis, he is at times a prima-donna and wined to Mercedes after Barcelona, threatening to leave Mercedes.

First race of the season I actually watch. I always enjoy Monaco.. what do you guys think about this F1 season? Entertaining? Competitive? I kind of gave up on F1 around the back end of Schumi's career.

It has been a good start to the F1 season, Rosberg has been fortunate with everyone else having issues. I think things will get even better moving forward.

I also agree that Mercedes has had it easy with all the others having issues at one point or another. Yesterday in Monaco the Mercs were far from being the quickest cars around that track but tyre strategy, pit crew messing up Ricciardo's pit stop with the tyre SNAFU, Raikkonen hitting the wall, Verstappen hitting the wall all worked in their favor.

I've said that if HAM doesn't win Monaco you can write the rest of his season off. He won Monaco.. now that fire might be back. I'm shocked that Nico let him by so easily.. I guess after the crash they made it clear who the No.2 was. Ferrari is nowhere near as strong as they say they are in the last few races.. There is a recent resurgence at RBR Mercedes is still strong and their chassis has excellent tire wear, even on ultrasofts HAM was able to hold off RIC. That BS call at the tunnel chicane from HAM and the FIA has me fuming

WTF! with Justin Bieber in Parc Ferme chilling on the guard rail after the race? "You dawg, you smoked them" RIC looked as if he was going to punch someone in the race.

I just started watching F1 again this year. So far it appears like KVY is nothing but giant bowling ball. Last race, Nico's bad brakes was a BS story, Lewis is just a better, faster driver. He would have looked like a total douche if he didn't follow team orders, Lewis was a different level. It sucks for RIC, he still should have been careful about what he said in front of the cameras. Max, I thought he was pretty ballsy until his crash. He's obviously fast and hungry, just needs to acquire experience and a bit of wisdom. It's sad for Ferrari, I don't particularly like Vettel as an individual but I think he is one incredible driver. His double overtake before entering pit lane several weeks ago showed how based this German driver can be. I'm having fun so far.

So are their any on you going to the race next week-end? Wich grandstand and when? I'll be in #1 /section 5 for the 3 days

I'll be at the race on Sunday, with GF and daughter (her 1st time...!), in the "Estrades Populaires", right at the beginning of the stretch of the Casino (after hairpin).

Hope it doesn't rain...!
