1 All eligible vehicules may receive oil consumption related as described bellow ..Service Enhancement ... within 8 years or 130,000 whichever occurs first free of charge . The service Enhancement is defined as 1 Replacement of the Crankcase Pressure regulation valve front Crankshaft Seal and Front Crankshaft Bolt and 2 updating the Engine Control Module ECM software to comform the new parts .
2 For vehicules where the service Enhancement has not been previously performed and the vehicule is within 8 years 130,000 KM warranty extension related oil consumption repairs are covered for the balance of 8 years or 130,000 KM or 12 Months from date of service Enhancement .
3 For vehicule where the service Enhancement has not previously performed and the vehicule is outside of the 8years 130,000KM warranty extension the Service Enhacement is covered for 18 Months from the date of this notice regardless of vehicule age or mileage . Additional required related oil consumption repairs are covered for 12 Months from the date of the Service Enhacement is performed .
4 Eligible vehicules which already received the service Enhacement are covered for any additional required oil consumption related repairs for the 8 years 130,000 KM Warrenty Extension . This may include a second test and potentially other relevant repairs .
What is not covered under this Warrenty Extension
The Warrenty Extension does not cover any damage or malfuntions by using non genuine Audi parts or parts that alter the performance of the engine , engine controls or exhaust system , such as the installation of engine management ..chipped or tuned not approved by Audi Canada .
Other conditions unrelated to Oil Consumption may cause vehicule concerns .These conditions may require repairs that are needed for proper diagnosis of the underlying conditions . Any repairs that are 1 necessary for proper diagnosis of these conditions or 2 required to bring the vehicule up to factory specifications for proper diagnosis of these conditions are not covered by this Warranty Extension.
Damage or malfunctions caused by outside influence such as damage due to an accident or vehicule misuse or neglec as well as repairs that are 1 necessary for proper diagnosis of these other conditions 2 required to bring vehicule up to factory specifications for proper diagnosis of these conditions are not covered by this Warranty Extension.
Documented proof of compliance with oil and oil filter maintenance and schedule with allowance for a10%variance as set forth in the vehicule Warranty and Maintenance Booklet and Owners Manuel is required .
