BRZ feeback?

hate: Everyone that drives one thinks it's a Ferrari, too many ticounes, not awd, under powered.

likes: ...

But hey, I think Clarkson loves them.

I like the look, if I was 16 I'd love them alot but nowadays only ti coune drives them and they think it's reallllly fast it's not. But good looking and RWD

Make it hatchback like the first gen 240sx was and i'd be all over it. But the way it is... Just not enough space for me.

had mine for a year and half now... all good if you are looking for crazy acceleration this is not the car for you. Everyone complains that it is too slow for the type but I've appreciated the handling way more, with decent tires this thing will stick and stay planted to the road all kinds.
The after market parts available for it is unbelievable their are tons you can do from aesthetics to power and most parts are from USA so easily available if you don't mind the exchange rates for now.
best advice I can give is avoid the first gen 2012 and find a used one with low km that a person bought the wrong car and changed his mind. Avoid the modded ones so you get a blank canvas and don't deal with the ones that have been beat up.
lastly don't even worry about winter driving as its tons more fun then ;)
go test drive one!

It's a great car to have. All around, It's perfect for what it is. You can get one of those for about under $20k now!
Can your car handle going about 95 km/h on highway turnarounds on stock tires ? Didn't think so.... The sport traction control is perfect for noobs and if you're a pro you can go all the way off and do some cool slides.
It's a shame that there are not enough twisty roads in Montreal.
When people see this car, they think it's some sort of a Ferrari or something like that... It really is a head turner <3
Yes it's slow and that torque dip is obnoxious, but hey, there are plenty of superchargers and turbo kits for those who want more power...
I love my FRS

TL;DR: 90's japanese sport coupe, today.

Au pire, headers + tune == no more dip.

1. lack of power
2. not legendary awd
3. cant drive at high speed in winter like the wrx or sti does
4.a fake a$$ subaru for teenagers who just got their liscense and want a coupe witouth knowing anything in the engine
5. lack of torque
6. feeling that the car will crash at high speed during curves

went for a test drive before changing my mind and bought a sti 2015 instead !

if you buy a subaru really get their legendary awd its a must ! and if it has a turbo on it its just amazing probably the best 4wd of all time. will get the sti 2020 when released

3. winter+high speed and rwd? Really?

Headers tune merci bye, still no turbo i agree
