Désolé pour le texte en anglais, je ne filais pas pour tout réécrire
Haven't been too good on posting our progress this year but here they are.
We did two race weekends so far, first was at Calabogie Motorosport Park in Ontario Canada. It was an extremely cold and wet race day. We had two races of 45 minutes which were split in two at the half way mark making it a 4 races weekend.
We had never tested the car in wet condition and although our pilot is usually very good in the wet, the setup was far from being optimal. This was a very bad start for the championship points chase.
We ended up in
7th on race #1
3rd on race #2
4th on race #3
8th on race #4
With those scores, i beleive we were 3rd in the championship. Here are the pictures of that weekend
Then was the second meeting of the season, at ICAR in Mirabel Québec. This weekend ended up being much better with a perfect weather and a car that was finally right. We now have our suspension setup under control and the driver now feels happy with it.
The results were a blastering first position on race #1, a first position on race #2 and a second position on race #3. Almost a perfect weekend. One thing to know is that when you win a race you get a 100 lbs penalty so for the 3rd race, we needed to add 200lbs which made it difficult on the third race on a shorter track. We will need to be 275lbs heavier than our normal weight for the next event!
With those results, we are now leading the championship but by very little. We now have a supercharger problem and don't know if that's going to be fixed for the next race weekend on july 2-3. We were hoping for a supercharger sponsorship but seems like these are hard to come by!
We would like to thank our current sponsors, Balcons et Palettes 3D, Perry Performance, Racecomp Engineering and SM Mecanique
