Wallingford-Back abandoned mine, near Buckingham on the border of Quebec and Ontario. Actually probably closer to l'Ange Gardien. I don't know if it's been discussed here before but it looks like a very VERY nice place to spend a day.

I want to go. They recommend a "good" 4x4 vehicle, I'm thinking the Subaru shouldn't have any problems making it here although the Sidekick would be more fun but 2h + 2h to get back in the Sidekick = eesh my poor back
First more interesting video:
Second video to be watched on mute seems to show the last bit of route there and a sedan parked so I'm thinking the Subaru should have 0 issues getting there:
(caution) If you research it, be careful there's one of the first Google hits that has a phishing attempt on one of its pages, if you hit up that page just close Chrome (you might have to end-task it from the task-manager) and reopen it without restoring the tabs.
Has anyone been there? Is the road passable in a "mere" Impreza Outback or will I NEED the Sidekick's offroad prowess?
It looks like a fantastic place for a photoshoot too.
Anyone?
