Thoughts on GLK 250 diesel?

My 328d lease is up in a month and I NEED a small truck with fuel efficiency (8l/100kms max) decent cargo, good road clearance and ability to tow 3000lbs.

I narrowed my choice down to a GLK250 bluetec (but still open to other suggestions)

Anybody have experience with a 2013/2014 GLK?
 
I think they look so much better than the new ones!

I only tried a MB diesel once and was surprised at how smooth it was!

They look great and are good on fuel. But the complexity of the engine ( twin turbo + recent antipollution with urea ) is a warranty of high maintenance costs in the future.
 
The X3d is still fairly new and hard to find in my 28-33k price range, especially with navi. Had it been a bit cheaper, it would my first choice as I had one for a week and absolutely loved it. The 328d touring is also my fav, but missing the ride height
 
I also looked into the Canyon and Colorado diesel but would have to buy new. These are trucks I will consider in 2-3 years..
