Bonjour,

40Km/year forget 323....get something big and comfty!! + if u want good bluetooth its gotta be 2012+.....

If you do a lot of highway then V6 or V8 is a must...4 bangers get annoying, maybe a diesel...???

Your last sentence doesn't make any sense. You suggest a v8 or a diesel?

The 4 cylinder of the 323 is fine for highway. It's not powerful but since you are used to a 2.slow then you should be perfectly fine.

German cars are very comfortable and dont rev high on the highway. I don't know for older models but recent bmw revs under 2000 rpm at 100km/h

I might get flack for this suggestion but if you do 40k in a year and its 90% highway. Why not get a domestic car thats made just for that, like a chrysler 300 or dodge charger. Both are the LX platform so they are basically last gen mercedes S and E class, they come in v6 or v8 and the v8 you can run on cheap 87 gas to off set extra consumption cost. Comfortable especially on long drives, easy to fix and maintain, more than enough power for highway passing and merging.
