I'm just curious about what members think about 4K televisions. In order to be able to perceive the difference a person must sit a few feet away from the screen otherwise they can't tell the difference.
There is also HDR (the next level up) and HDR has some better colours and contrast but for all intensive purposes is 1080p television good enough for 99% of people's needs?
Consider the fact at how few 4K sources of programming there is. Heck I don't event think you can get 1080p from cable yet and Netflix "sometimes" can reach 1080p.
Why would someone spend $500-600 more for the 4K tv?
