Steal a Tesla with and iphone or android....or why our roaster has to be connected

Folks its happened again. Someone has found a way using malware to steal a Tesla. WTF, why does everything have to be connected these days? I mean do you need to open your car from the Internet? Does your toaster need an LTE connection?
