So what's the vercist on AMD Zen?

inb4 real life benchmark gonna be fukin slower than intel

amd sont connu pour avoir 1 ou 2 benchmark qui avantage juste leur produit quand dans le reste ils se font ramasser

C'est l'ingénieur qui avait pondu le Athlon64 qui a développé le RYZEN. Donc, attends-moi à ce que ça tienne ses promesses et battent Intel sur cost/price/performance.
 
La seul chose que je vais dire : Si ça livre ses promesses, je serais pas étonné de voir des Opterons arriver éventuellement dans le centre de données ou je travaille
 
I sure hope it's as good and as cheap as the hype makes it be. If not, RIP we will all have to buy overpriced shintels.

TBH I ran an FX system for almost a decade and it could run every video game I threw at it.

I've switched to an i7 6700k and in games I don't really see any difference except that the nVidia drivers are pissing me off. I should've stayed with an AMD GPU.

CPU = intel

Nvdia = GPU

TU peut mettre une carte amd sur un cpu intel ...

on en a deja eu, en fait on en a encore, mais la grande majorite sont du Intel, l'achat de nouveaux CPUs AMD a pris le bord depuis quelques années j'imagine vu le manque d'avancement

3.6-4.0ghz on 8c/16t is not slow. A 6950x is 3.0-3.5 and 4ghz but not on all cores. 6900k is 3.2-3.7ghz and the same 4ghz turbo not on all cores. The clocks are on par with intel ( as for the highest core/threads ).


But the 4c/4t and 4c/8t could be clocked higher out of the box instead of aiming at lower TDP. A 7700k is 4.5ghz boost.

ça on va le voir si ça reste intel ou si AMD revient en force dans le monde du datacenter uniquement quand les puces et les tests auront sortis.

Je sais que notre département de "Solutions Matérielle" suit ça en ostie, parce que si ça nous coute moins cher....
