I use Ctek's on all my my cars.

all the non daily drivers are hooked up to Ctek's all year around. I was was introduced to the Ctek unit years ago when I bought my first lambo, and now its all I use. They are super safe and stupid proof. My 6yr old can connect them.

After a lot of research, I bought a CTEK to maintain and condition my BMW X3 35i battery.

Can't say enough good things about the quality of this CTEK MUS 4.3 unit, and its adaptor cables.
I decided to semi-permanently attach the quick disconnect ring terminal cable to my charge poles under the hood (battery is in the trunk).

The cable itself has a rubber protective cap to prevent dirt from reaching the electrical contacts when not in use. Simple, but just well through out and well engineered all around. The charger is small but still delivers 4.3Amps. It has 8 phases of charging, testing, conditioning , and maintaining your battery. Check out the pics and video I shared below.
