"Buy american" policies have nothing to do with Trump. It is part of the American DNA to shut down their imports when they are passing stimulus bills.

You're trying too hard.

The evangelical crowd is as red as the wine they're sipping in church on Sundays. Besides, trade policy has little if anything to do with salvation or faith in Jesus. I wouldn't use theological references in that context.

Biden will probably make Time's list of world's most boring persons in 2021 and we're cool with that. He has no cult following. Never has, never will. A boring world is a good world. Sorry Kim Jung Un, no weird propaganda videos or all inclusive trip to Mar A Lago for you in 2021.

Unlike his predecessor, Biden is not jacking up tariffs because "trade wars are good and easy to win". They're doing it because it's the american playbook.

Dont' want foreign light trucks in your market? Chicken tax. Harley about to go belly up? Tariffs up the wazoo on japanese bikes. It's always been that way. Worship at the altar of the "free market" but... nudge the invisible hand when its convenient.
