The initiative Trump references is the international campaign launched by U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, the highest-ranking openly gay person in Trump administration. Grenell launched the initiative with an eye toward Iran, where the homosexuality is punishable by death.

A more serious reply; this guy makes multiple videos per day, and he's reacting to the news. If HC would just friggin disappear instead of doing her pathetic Costco book signings and trying to rile up her braindead supporters with such nonsensical BS like Trump and his supporters being the reason fascism is creeping into American society, no one would be talking about her.

The video didn't really focus on her (if you watched it), it focused on how true her claim was, and how her and people like her are the reason.

Say what you wish, but this strange dude is usually on point and he's not a Trump ass licker. He's a libertarian, and a real one it seems, not like those people that claim to be one because it's the hot new thing.

D'un autre côté, la Chine a été pendant des décennies le dépotoir des USA (et de tout l'Occident). Avec les nouvelles lois environnementales/importations, la Chine a bloqué l'importation des déchets provenant de l'Occident. Ils sont présentement entassés dans des containers dans les ports de la côte ouest américaine. Même les autres pays de l'Asie orientale ne veulent plus des déchets de l'Occident. Et ceux qui sont déjà envoyés sont retournés à leurs expéditeurs.

C'est bien beau de dire que l'Occident a été vendu pendant des décennies à la Chine, mais, en même temps, et pendant ce temps, la Chine était le dépotoir de l'Occident.

C'est justement ce qui met Trumps en beau fusil: il est pogné avec ses propres déchets que personne ne veut.

All of this is very true, you saw it this week in Hong Kong with the introduction of the extradition bill. They don't care about the 50-year transition period they're going full steam ahead with consolidation of China and the single Chinese Han identity. Their focus is on consolidating their internal politics at the moment, between wiping out the uyghur and accelerating the integration of Macau and Hong-Kong to the mainland.

Taiwan in the not too distant future. After that the Chinese diaspora abroad (which they are already working on), because in the eyes of the CCP they're all part of the nation aswell.

I'm not sure Trump understands that his sanctions are essentially a technological blockade against China that is laying the groundwork for a bifurcation of the internet.
We might very well see a western internet lead and dominated by American tech corporations and an eastern internet lead by Chinese tech companies and the Chinese surveillance state.
Russia is already running tests and developing its own Intranet.
Africa is filled with tinpot dictators and fragile democracies with explosive population growth and straight to wireless infrastructure. There are a lot of governments in that region that would LOVE to have China's capacity to control and surveil the internet/its population.

Are you talking about the first opium war? Yes, I tend to agree with that version of history but I haven't read enough about it.

The Chinese operate on decades-long if not generational time scale. In my opinion, the west's current opioid crisis is a reverse opium war on China's part. Practically all the Fentanyl and Carfentanyl is coming from China, if they really wanted to they could probably shut that shit down but since it's for the most part being exported to the west they're letting it slide. This is an underhanded fuck you for the humiliation centuries later.

L'ancien vice-président Joe Biden a annoncé avoir amassé 6,3 millions US en 24 heures, comparativement à 6,1 millions pour l'ancien représentant du Texas Beto O'Rourke et 5,9 millions pour le sénateur du Vermont Bernie Sanders.

M. Trump a donc largement dépassé les trois candidats les plus susceptibles de remporter la course démocrate. Son équipe n'a toutefois pas révélé de qui provient cet argent; on ne sait pas quelle proportion vient des grands donateurs fortunés et des partisans de la base qui ont versé quelques dollars en ligne.
