Gates, Zuckerberg and many other billionaires have decided to give part of their fortunes to charity. I somehow find it reassuring that not all billionaires are complete assholes.
Yeah but Gates/Zuck/Buffet and the rest of the living pledge all come from backgrounds/industry where they had to build something of substance. Real estate development is just so freaking transactional and superficial.

Socialism is taking the money by force. Billionaires deciding on their own to share their wealth and help people is charity. There is a huge difference between the two. And yes, i believe that a man willing to help his fellow human beings is a better person than an egocentric who is peddling his merchandise during a disaster.

I know the difference, no need to state the obvious. You believe that the rich who don't give away their money are assholes, you said it. You already believe that if you have more than others then you should give some of it away because that's the right thing to do. That is not far away from demanding and then forcing, right now you are at the shaming part. Not aggressive, just using shame to get what you believe is right even though you have no right to tell, or judge somebody in any way, shape, or form how to spend their money. If that's not leaning towards socialism then I don't know what is, just think about it for a minute.

Yeah that CNN interview was terrible and she/they deserved to be shamed. As much as Infowars loves to shame the MSM, was it untrue that to Trump didn't meet with any of the victims? From what I've read that's accurate. As for the FEMA/Government response being good, I'm skeptical. There are a lot of reports saying that civilians have been doing a lot more of the actual rescuing with their own boats and lifted trucks than any of the government agencies.
