The initial links the Fake news media were peddling was not Acosta but more simply that Trump and Epstein we're good friends. They're flinging shit to see what sticks but they haven't learned their lesson about the Teflon Don.

Either way, the Acosta link is clinging to threads, you'd have to prove that the Trump team actively hired him because he helped Epstein for it to be damning.

On the other hand you got Bill Clinton lying his ass off about only going 4 times, not the 26 recorded times to Little St James island, a few times ditching his SS detail. Or the fact that supposedly, Epstein was an original founder of the Clinton Foundation. Nope... Fucking crickets from the media on that front.
 
I doubt that the feds would offer a plea deal if they have a real good case against somebody. So if there is a chance for him to walk, a plea deal to get him to do time, get registered as a sex offender and pay compensation is better. They got involved because they knew that he would have walked free from the State court scot-free. If he wouldn't be the Secretary of Labor under Trump, or he would be the Secretary of Labor under Hillary, nobody would give a shit what happened in 2008.

It was and the irony is that she was born in New York, and her mother is from Puerto Rico. So in his infinite wisdom, he just called the government of which he's the head of, a complete catastrophe.
