JB lies
- Antifa isnt an organization
That's about as insightful as debating if the Talibans are an "organization" or a "movement." It's semantics and politicking.
- There is no anti american teachings in higher education
What's "Pro-American"? What does that even mean? Is there really a single definition of American? That's just partisan gibberish.
Is the ruling party Pro-American if it's playing fast and loose with the constitution? How Pro-American are you when you're stuck celebrating the Confederates (losers) at every turn? It does't get much more anti-american than standing up for the traitorous slavers that got their asses whooped in the American civil War. Fighting tooth and nail not to rename bases named after confederates? What's the point.... Let's call a spade a spade, it's a liberal and progressive leaning in Higher Education. Same phenomenon in pretty much every western society...
- Said that Trump was a racist and called white supremicists very fine people
"you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides."
-DJT speaking following clashes between white supremacist at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. He obviously said more than that, but that perhaps wasn't the best choice of words. He had way too many fans and republicans in attendance to just label everyone a racist. Seeing as politicans would do well not to bite the hand that feeds, It was a reasonable compromise for the most part but not quite to the opposition's satisfaction. Can't please everybody.
- Said that he doesn't support Green New Deal but went on about how cheap it was
He has his own platform. Politicians can't stand piggybacking on someone's else idea. They got to have their own branded plan. From that perspective, it's grounded in reality.
- Said he doesnt want to defund the police
That's his opinion. It's obvious there are a lot of people in his party intent on doing that. It's pretty much guaranteed to happen in some jurisdictions, whereas it won't elsewhere. Most LE is a state/municipal mandate anyways. Not POTUS' domain per se.
- Said he wont be dominated by the radical members of his party
The fact it's not likely he can hold the line on every issue doesn't make it a lie. There are radicals in both parties. Trump moved an embassy to please the radical evangelists. How's that for being your own man? Both sides do dumb shit to get votes
- Said no serious person ever said that masks weren't effective
People say dumb shit all the time. We even give them tribunes. So yeah, people have claimed that. You should hear what some people have said about bleach and UV light...
- Said violence and rioting in cities was from white wing anarchists and Trumps fault, when in fact it is overwhelmingly BLM and Antifa
Neither sides are exactly helpful. Most looters were just dumb poor people. Arguing over blame falls pretty much directly in line with political affiliation. One should never underestimate dumb people's propensity for violence.
- Said it wasn't true that no law enforcement agency supported him (Biden)
Unions are endorsing candidates, the agencies aren't. There's a sheriff that was very surprised to hear he had endorsed Trump following the debates.
