Its just logical.
Immigrants are ready to work for a lower salary to get the job.
Women when they invaded the job market slowly over time accepted to also work for less than men at that time and over time.
Nowadays, in their late 30's white women tend to switch from career mode to family mode to have one child. Basically, this causes salaries to tank further more for everybody to maintain equality. The gender wage gap for equality complicates things. That gap needs to stay close between men and women.
This works perfectly for capitalism and corporations which are the backbone of modern societies. They end up paying everybody cheaper and cheaper and making more and more profit. Salary discrepancy created inflation. Access to willing cheap labor created the problem.
Basically, its a win-win for everybody except for the men from that culture that bendover. The low birth rates (since women no longer have time to bear 3 children) will lead to a slow cultural genocide.
Im not blaming women for this. Many got fed up of being thrown out on the streets with nothing after bearing children in the 50's-60's. If anything its the men's fault at that time for not compensating women to maintain high birth rates without the need for the priest to come knock at the door to force things.
Assuming your reasoning is sound, I see it more as a salary bubble that popped when the workforce that was needed actually showed up. If so much labor was available since WWII, we had to fill these positions, women showed up in an economy that wasn't built for it because it didn't evolve accordingly over many decades, and the medians self-adjusted and are probably still adjusting. Sure, it was a shock, but supply/demand also applies to jobs. We dug ourselves a hole where we assumed industrialization wasn't going to bring in unprecedented needs in terms of labor and we're still crawling out of it. The labor was needed, we had to put asses in seats, they showed up, we took them, as we should've.
But who will take care of the kids? That's what we had to figure out as we went, but we didn't and now parenting has become much more difficult and straining than it should be. Stimulating birthrate now means making parenting attractive. In the big city at least, parenting is not as attractive as it should be.
Sure, if all you're saying is spot on, men are "losing" money but in the end so are people who buy over valued houses and lose money when the market adjusts. If women make more money by being in the workforce and asking for equal pay for equal jobs (which they mostly have), then your household makes similar money, but not you specifically.
If it's win win for everyone except one group, then globally it's better, plus the one group who is losing some isn't regressing back to the stone age, they just took a small salary hit while the wife brought home her share of the dough. Some jimmies are rustled, but markets adjust, and jobs are a market.
As far as cultural genocide goes, you can totally blame immigrants and cheap labor, but why are there homeless people in the street who would work if they could, yet we give free money to people who don't because they just don't want to work, even if they can? That's irresponsible, but since we want to look good, then we fill the gap with newcomers who have a certain influence.
