Ouin tout à fait.
OP the more I think of it, you should get an MK6 GTI and set it up like this:
VW Racing Sport springs 22mm drop / Bilstein sport shock absorbers - 1000$
Stoptech Street brake pads - 200$
Zimmerman coated discs or equivalent - 300$
Alignment - 100$
Michelin Pilot Super sport 225/40/18 - 1200$
3'' downpipe - 800$
Stage 2 flash - 650$
You'll have a car that is smooth, quiet, comfortable for everyday driving, good fuel economy, not too low for the winter. At the same time on the track you'll be able to have an absolute blast with this setup.
You got about 5K of mods with taxes and installation. You can EASILY pick up a super clean MK6 GTI for under 20K and fit all this into your budget.
Ahh yes the weekly "I need a daily and track car" thread
30k can get you a 4dr M3. Problem solved
Family friendly, AWD for daily et automatique.
