E36 exhaust

I have a 97 328i, M50 intake, M3 cam, header and AA chip with 3" exhaust ( I bought the car this way ).
I hate the sound and want to switch the exhaust system, probably more HP with two 2" from the header and a decent muffler.
Any ideas for keeping the 3"? Perhaps adding a straight through after the header? I would like this to be quiet.

Has anyone dealt with ultra exhaust? Their prices look reasonable ( E36 complete setup for $559.45 ) and free shipping. I found used ones in Toronto but 20 yr old items do not interest me.
