So.... flying over to toronto to get my e39 m5 next week. Car is mostly stock except for suspension and i just heard the sad news that Coilovers arent tolerated anymore for SAAQ inspection (at least in sagueany i asked both shops and they told me theres no way i can simply pass the inspection) So now are my options:
-Finding an OEM suspension, putting it on, pass the inspection then put back coilovers (good luck finding one, AND at a fair price)
-Bribe the mandatory
But im wondering if i can find a 540i suspension(sport or not.. whichever)... will fit ??? (enough to pass the inspection not to drive the car that way)
or do you guys know any place or have a contact that could care less about coilovers for inspection & would accept the car with them ? (recent experience as what i heard is that law is kinda a new thing...
///note that i'm in saguenay, a place near Quebec would be best but... i will drive wherever its required...
