So that time of the year for an oil change and inspection before I start putting some miles on my bike..

Any recomendations....its a 2016 Indian, i really don't wanna go to moto Illimitee. Had a very bad experience, unless someone tells me that the service department is amazing!!

Did a search, last thread 2014..

Thanks

start it and beat the hell out of it.

It's a freaking 2016.. nothing to be done before riding really....unless you put 50K km on it last year then maybe!

everyone recommends doing your first oil change on a bike after the first 1k km.....even the manufacturer...

i have almost 4k

You probably risk more bringing your bike to the dealer at this time of the year than you do not changing the oil right away.

As others have said, do it yourself.

Do it yourself! Its easy, cheaper and IMO, safer!

Did my oil yesterday on my KLR, took me less than 10 min...

VT motorcycle maintenance in ville st laurent

How do you get a hold of them?

I need to do a major overhaul on my 250R and I tried to do it late season last year but I never got through to Vince.

I tried sending an email via the website today and I'm now waiting to hear back.

People rave about how good they are but my experience try to get a hold of them for an appointment has been terrible.

While we are on the same topic- I am looking for a private mechanic that works out of a non dealer shop- and does work on 70s and 80s bikes- all Japanese all with carbs- and knowing carbs being a plus.
I have varied needs for a few bikes- from a mild restoration or a basic maintenance program.

Any of the guys listed above specialize in this?

Thanks!

he is super easy to get a hold of, and hes actually mostly at his shop from 6pm weekdays into the evening, all day friday, and weekends on appointments so he works hours that people can actual get to. unlike most dealerships
