I bought this car in October 2016 , see the previous add:
https://www.montrealracing.com/forums/showthread.php?900919-95-Miata-turbo-wlots-of-goodies
Paid $8k for it in October 2016. Car had not been completely tuned at the time.
Its now freshly Dyno tuned by Brady AKA DynoDoc on his DynaPack.
215WHP / 200WTQ @11psi
Engine setup has potential for a LOT more power, but this power level is near the limit in order to be safe on the 5speed.
107k kms on body, less than 80k kms on engine (swapped with jdm by previous owners). No leaks, no burning fluids. Rust free(!), runs great, pulls hard and is very fun to drive.
It's a big decision for me to go from a reasonable, reliable, very exiting, sexy track car.
I just got the car and I really enjoy it, but I'm realising my dream, a deal that was hard to let pass by, and sadly can't keep them both!
The good:
Original brilliant black paint from factory, professionally detailed, never repainted.
1.8L dohc engine w/ 5spd torsen lsd with new OEM shifter bushings
New stage 3 clutch, shifts perfectly and smoothly.
New oem clutch master and slave cylinders w/full stainless braided line
Factory hard top with defrost (works!)
Turbonetics T3 turbo (40ar) with upgraded center section for water cooling and step gap turbine end piston ring.
Hellafab stainless equal-length top mount manifold
Hellafab stainless 3" downpipe w/full 3" exhaust using magnaflow high flow cat and muffler.
Tial 38mm Mvs external wastegate (8psi spring used, all springs included - all authentic)
Greddy type-s bov (authentic)
Fab9 flat black fmic
OEM plastic engine bay under panelling with charge piping cutouts
2" custom charge piping
Aluminum air diverter radiator panel
Mishimoto 3-row x-line aluminum radiator
Mishimoto fan shroud and twin fans
M-tuned coolant reroute
Mishimoto 2-port catch-can
Apex-i turbo timer
Megasquirt PNP 2 ecu with Iat and Ebc.
Fuelab adjustable fpr w/gauge
949racing billet dual feed fuel rail w/ stainless braided lines and AN fittings throughout
650cc flow force injectors (ev14)
AEM uego wideband gauge and linked to ecu
Flyin' miata vmaxx track-pack coilovers w/ flying' miata alignment (but with -2.0 rear camber)
Racing Beat front and rear sways bars
Harddog single diagonal rollbar w/leather padding
Jass performance low profile headlights w/hid (glare shielded)
Front smoked drl/turn signal lenses
Cherried black jdm style tail lights
LED back up lights
GV front lip replica (cut out for low profile jack on driver's side)
Advanti Storm S1 15x9 +35 offset 12lbs wheels in black wrapped in new Hankook RS-3 225/45/15 tires.
NB OEM front sport brakes (11" rotors, larger calipers) with hawk HPS pads
Stainless brake lines on all corners.
Nardi deep corn perforated leather steering wheel (330mm) w/dakai hub
Airbag light delete
Autometer boost, water temp gauges.
Black leather, red stitched shift and ebrake boots
Jvc drvn 400w 2ch amp
Infinity 6.5" component door speakers (headrest speakers actually work as well)
Jvc head unit with bluetooth streaming.
The bad:
Stone chips and other minor imperfections pretty much everywhere in the regular areas, which is to be expected for 20+yr old paint.
Rear bumper needs to be repaired and repainted due to paint missing on the drivers side (see below) and some melting of the paint at the exhaust cut out.
Seats have rips and scratches. Could use a reupholstering if you wanted them perfect. They're still in better shape than most leather seats of this generation.
Windshield has a big chip in it, but it's the original windshield, so it's pretty worn anyway. Not structurally compromised.
There is paint missing on the rear driver's side corner of the bumper and a bit of the fender due to wiping out at calabogie (previous owners) which has been covered in plastidip for now. Most people don't even notice this to be completely honest. No other damage to speak of!
