This Kit retails for approx 1500$ +tax. Asking 1000$. Willing to ship but will give priority to local or canadian market.
Why it's an upgrade ;
1) 4 piston caliper Vs 1 floating piston = more precise braking and more direct feel.
2) Shave approx. 10lbs per caliper. Any weight shaving surrounding the wheels offer greater gain in handling and acceleration.
3) Look more badass than a A4 320mm or 345mm S4 caliper. And your getting brembo quality part Vs. what comes OEM.
4) Retains the 345mm rotor so you can still fit 18 inch wheels and will clear virtually any wheels. 345mm rotor are easy to find and cheap since they come standards on S4/Q5/S5.
5) ideally, you would have to change the Brake master cylinder with a BBK. With the Q5 kit, you can get along with the OEM master so that it doesn't mess with your Brake BIAS. (Feel free to change it while your bleeding the brake fluid, if you have extra money tho, it should improve slightly the brake feel too !)
Who can benefit from this upgrade ;
- A4/A5/Q5 that have the 320mm rotor ( You will need to upgrade to a 345mm rotor)
- S4/S5 that have the 345mm rotor.
- Might fit others, but you have to make your own research.
