Volvo will be going to the shop for the alternator that crapped out on me last weekend, and the valve cover gaskets are getting done at the same time. Had also spotted a vacuum leak near the firewall thats gonna be an easy fix with the rear valve cover off.
Still waiting on the coilovers for the Infiniti... but body work will be completed today!

Volvo is freshly maintained, in addition to the valve cover gaskets and alternator, changed the spark plugs (I strongly suspect they were the originals), intake manifold gasket, spark plug wire grounds (1 for each spark plug), fixed a vacuum leak near the firewall, and put in fresh oil, ps fluid, coolant and brake fluid, plus a new Bosch battery. Car is running flawlessly, noticeably smoother than when i purchased it.
Infiniti should be out of paint soon, finishing up the rocker panels. Coilovers should arrive next week, so alignment, new wheel install and a good cleanup and im getting it back.

Confirmed, it is. Moneypit back for sale... I miss it tho...
On another note, hit a pothole while on my way back from new Brunswick with the S80. Thankfully no suspension damage but had to replace 2 tires...
Front bumper on the M45 being repainted for the 3rd time, keep having a weird paint reaction causing pitting... starting to get impatient.........

Last stretch for the M45, full body polish after a few touch ups, slap on the wheels, install & adjust the coilovers, alignment and she's all set!
Took a minute to check out the projects in the yard, a very rough firebird is new, and learned that the challenger in the back is in the final stages of a 2012 srt8 swap...

No progress update because despite the paint being now complete, the wrong coilovers were shipped from BC racing... again... not impressed... sooooo the M45 will be only ready next week.
When that happens i will be bringing in the S80 (which I put up for sale) for winter prep, which will include:
New blower motor for the ventilation
New oil level sensor
A low pressure ps hose
Rust repair on trunk & above windshield
Rustproofing
Winter wheel install
Pics to come...

While installing the coilovers on the M45, noticed that the rear top plate bushings were done, gonna get those replaced but the parts are coming from BC, so that'll take a while to get.
Had to get another ABS sensor changed also cuz it broke while the front link kits were being changed...

All right bushings done, abs sensors in tomorrow and alignment will be done once installed. How she stands now, will be laying 2in lower after coilovers adjusted.
Also got a couple good trade offers for the Volvo that I'm gonna go check out over the weekend.
