Project GEV & project pimpin': the P5 & the M45

Beau roadtrip dans les Adirondack avec le M45, je me rends compte que ca va me prendre un upgrade de freins... A suivre je le droppe a mon mecano en reprenant le P5.

So I got P5 back today while i get the brakes done on the M45... Still having misfiring issues and still running the previous spring/shock combo cuz I got sent the wrong model Coilovers... Not a great day but getting it back into the shop early next week to hopefully get the issues sorted once and for all

Aaaaah jme demandais lol jai entendu parler de port&polish de tete pis dintake mais pas de phares... jetais sul bord de demander combien dhashpés ca donnait

Mais ouais ca fait partie de la job de body complete qui va etre faite le mois prochain

Just ordered a K&N drop-in panel filter for the Infiniti, also have my eye on a Autech muffler from an Autech version Nissan Gloria, super rare & high quality, made by Fujitsubo.

Value on these is subjective, anywhere from 4-5k for a not-so-good condition high-miles one, to 11-12k for a mint example with under 100k km. Fuel on mine currently is +-15l/km with a very heavy foot & mostly city driving, so pretty much the norm for a V8 of this era.

No lip kit being installed on this, but Emotion coil overs are in my watchlist, as well as an assortment of SSR, AME & other JDM wheels, and that Autech exhaust. Got a delivery notice for the K&N panel filter, will pick it up tomorrow & install it. Anxious to see the difference in induction sound!

Lots of updates on the P5!

Got the windshield changed and windshield washer system working, got the coilovers installed, dialed in and a fresh alignment done, changed 2 links in the rear since they were way loose, hooked up the heater & climate controls, resprayed the front grille, repolished the front & rear lights and gave the car a good wash as it really needed it... Car is running a bit rich but I'll get it tuned soon. The hood is also gonna be refinished either in black or with a carbon wrap, still undecided.

Now time to drive the wheels off this thing!
