well...that's an interesting swap!

But I wouldn't have chosen a Gallardo as a chassis. Lambo V10s are lovely engines.

People slap American V8's in everything because it's easy, why not put a rotary in something?

This is an heresy... *td*

Or perhaps an indication that this specific car isn't all that special anymore?

I mean, now that it's affordable enough to be a PR stunt for a shop whose specialty (ie rotary motors) has stopped being relevant 5 years ago; perhaps it'd be a good time to let go of the pretend outrage.

I think it's cool a "local" shop has the balls to attempt something like this. I wish them all the best.

The car itself is not special at all, far from it. They built thousands of them. But the V10 Lamborghini engine on the other hand is the "soul" of this car. It is like taking a standard Rolex Submariner watch and replacing the Rolex automatic in-house movement by a Japanese quartz movement just for fun. Even if the watch might be working properly, the final result will be totally worthless...

Anyway, as a car enthusiast, I don't like the idea. If, on the other hand, you like it, this is your choice. I do not care.

a 4 rotor engine is probably worth more than a lambo v10 FYI

People swap american v8s because they are reliable as fuck, easy to work with and cheap in parts.

Pretty much the complete opposite of a rotary engine lol

Justement tant qu'à ça ils auraient pu juste faire simplement le traditionnel swap Ls.
Loll
