So I finally got myself a real mans car. 91 stock 1.6, coilovers, kirkey buckets. so much fun but my god, the 1.6 must be high or something. The throttle response can be measured in business days. I'm alright with slow low power cars, Ive had fun with my midori hatch, but its gotta be prime at least. Any common fixes or modifications to get the 1.6 to be more motivated?
also; how do i get the best acoustics for a stereo in one of these cars? gonna road trip with the wife and the tin can setup sucks. I have some 8" subs and various size quality speakers at my disposal so i could probably piece a decent light weight package together. My idea of "decent"; I consider quality door speakers and head unit in my stripped civic to be pretty decent. Just needs full range and to be audible at speed.
