For a friend of mine.
They HD PVR blew and they are looking for replacement.
The regular HD PVR only record 2 program at the same time while the 8X PVR (Ultra HD) can do 8 at the same time.
The only issue Videotron says they need a HDCP 2.2 TV if not it will not work and if a channel have 4k content it just won't show up (won't downscale).
To me it's a non-sense but i would prefer having a confirmation. They have a 2012 Sharp Aquos which does the job more then enough they would just like to be able to record more than 2 program at the same time.
