Ok Planetary Gearset.
Je ne sais pas si tu as déjà vu quelqu'un joué là-dedans. C’est compliqué à comparer une transmission manuelle et une CVT.
Pour ça qui coute cher les mécaniciens de transmission.

Avant le gros problème des transmissions automatiques à comparse, une manuelle était le torque convertor.
Ça généra tellement chaleur au final des HP était perdu pour refroidir la transmission.
là ce n'est plus un problème. C’est plat, mais les transmissions manuelles n'a plus raison être dans les autos grand public.

Les constructeurs choisis entre la complexité, mais solidité une transmission automatique avec des Gears. Ou efficacité et bas prix une CVT.
 
haha that being said I like the cvt on my corolla, very smooth in normal driving, no vibrations or other as some have reported, for acceleration, well not much can be done with the anemic engine, but the transmission sure makes use of all it's got, "shifts" (I know not really shifting) are quick and the engine is kept between the optimal rpm range, again slow as f... but it's not the transmission fault

you 1.8 is a reliable engine noting more but it do the job.

La lenteur a quand meme 1.3 seconde à voir avec la transmission. Tu dois être une vraie grand mère. À la job notre iq est lente pour mourir et fait un bruit de cochon qui se fait égorger à chaque départ alors qu'en manuelle (Europe seulement) c'est sûrement passablement fun à conduire

Pour la clientèle cible et fidèle de longue date de la Camry qui ont vieilli avec la Camry, je pense pas que conduire une 6mt les exciteraient.
