Test drove a 6sp earlier in the year. Honestly it felt well put together for the price, decent amount of features. Power was adequate but the engine just did not feel like it had 200hp, maybe it needs to be broken in before it loosened up. Ride quality was decent, handling was incredibly conservative and safety minded. After I test drove a focus ST the power difference was HUGE, and it was a few grand cheaper. The sentra did have a few positives over the ST, first it has a much roomier interior, particularly in the rear, comes standard with a sunroof and the center display is larger than the base model ST, overall a more practical package then the ST. But where it lost me was in the performance, not even close to the ST, and then there is the handling, where the sentra is geared towards safety and therefore is more of a subdued drive, it doesn't inspire any go fast feelings, whereas the ST just begs you to throw it into a corner sideways.
I still like the Sentra though, was pleasantly surprised, if the ST wasn't on sale for so cheap I would have gotten it.
